Without a doubt the R4i Card is a must have for anyone who owns a Dsi or DSi XL console. With support a massive 32GB of data on a single card, the R4i-sdhc offers wonderful media file playback capabilities meaning you can take your entire media collection with you on the go and playback your favourite music, movies, photos and even playback ebooks all from your DSi.

With the R4i Card you will need either a Micro SD or SDHC memory card, the Micro SD or TF as it is also know, is a small memory card roughly the size of a one penny coin and allows you to store up to 2GB of data on single chip. It was upgraded to the Micro SDHC which is also support by the R4i-SDHC and allows you to store up to 32GB of data on a single chip, all without the need for large CDs or anything of the sort, this tiny chip easily fits into your pocket and can be taken anywhere.

Once you have decided on what size of memory card suits your needs, for most this is 4GB, you can be begin using the R4i SDHC, you will need to attach it to your PC using the included USB memory card reader, which allows you to attach the memory card to your PC.
Once inserted, you simply select the files you wish to use on the R4i and click and drag them onto the memory card, if you need help with this there are plenty of videos available on youtube. Once you have transferred the files you can remove the memory card and insert it into the R4i and then into the slot 1 on your DSi/ DSi XL console. You are then ready to begin gaming with your device, and the whole setup procedure takes roughly 5 minutes, even for the least technically minded person. There is no messy software or setup needed, just transfer over the files and follow the onscreen steps which will help you get started with your R4i Card.
